Custom ERP/Order management software named “SimpleFM” used by the Trillium team to handle their day-to-day operations was full of bugs and issues when SYNVIZ first took the challenge to improve the overall system. SimpleFM being the main driver of different internal business operations was performing poorly, hence impacting the efficiency of all major areas of business that includes order assignment, order fulfillment, bill payments, etc.
With the help of our highly skilled team of software developers, we first done the analysis of different problems in hand some required short term fix whereas we believe in fixing core issues and providing quality work so that those same issues wouldn’t come up again as support work so many of the issues require a permanent fix. The two major issues with the system were poor code quality and tightly coupled code. To resolve these, we started redesigning the architecture as V2 version of the app. We started optimizing the APIs which improved the APIs efficiency to 46 percent and most of them will respond back within 30 secs. In the span of six months, we were not only able to stablize the existing system but also able to enhance their backend and front-end architecture to support new features.
